Rotting (And Other Mid 20s Activities)
Nov. 18th, 2025 09:19 pmToday has been a supreme rot day. Actually, it has been a supreme rot month. The time change has me severely fucked, and I'm not entirely sure why it's still bothering me now. I know there's a lot of rot glorification going on, but I promise I'm not glorifying or over-exaggerating my feelings. I just feel... bleh.
My partner bought chicken that he keeps forgetting to cook. I was going to cook it for him tonight to surprise him with meals for work tomorrow, but it went bad, so now we just have a huge pot of green beans. I guess if he doesn't want to eat them, I will. I need to eat more veggies. I recognize the irony of a nearly 7 year vegetarian not eating many veggies. I mostly eat rice, beans, and cheese.
I'm ending my night by perusing chorus.fm, one of my favorite sites to browse. I love forums, so I feel right at home. Realistically, I should work on a fanfiction or my original novel tonight, but I'm tired and I don't really feel like it. I'm also doing my Neopets dailies and GOD I wish the customization worked. It was going so well, then something broke and now customization is kinda ass. I just keep adding and un-adding the same golden staff from my Cybunny.
I also started a new book today. My friend group and I do Powerpoint nights every Christmas, and I changed from my original idea to "Reading Five TikTok Romances So You Don't Have To," so I went and took 'The Love Hypothesis' out from the library. I'm not a big fan so far, but I'm only 94 pages in. We'll see how I feel and I'll keep the journal updated.
