hopeful woods

I haven't posted for a week, but that's okay. Ideally, I would like to update this journal every day, but I haven't, and I'm not going to beat myself up for not doing it.

I got the stuff to finish my home studio, except for my damn microphone. I think someone stole it from my package, which is incredibly annoying.

Work has been okay. I got hurt yesterday, but today was easy, and tomorrow will be too. It's Thanksgiving, so I posted about people I'm grateful for on Facebook. I truly love my friends. I'm struggling with feeling jealous that people don't pay as much attention to me, but I think it's because my period is coming.

I guess a random thing to know about me is that I struggle severely with PMDD. It makes me question everything about my life for two to five days before my period, usually culminating in severe suicidal thoughts (that I know are ridiculous for my brain to think about) or a mental breakdown. I think that's where my feelings of jealously come from, because it's really only this bad when PMDD comes around.

Anyway, I'm going to finish my home studio set-up and then we can start recording music. YAY! I also need to work on my TBR jar that I plan on starting in 2026. I have a lot of books I need to read.
